To validate the area of one or more spaces

You can select desired spaces, fences, or none —for the active design file, to proceed with area validation.

Select (Validate Area).
The Area Validation Report dialog opens.
Select the Report By option to identify the space areas. For preselected spaces, besides the default Design File option, the Selection Set, and for preselected fences, the Fence options are enabled.
Identify the directory locations where the output DGN and validation report (XLS) to be saved.
The default path is taken where your design file resides.
Click OK to calculate the report.
The dialog closes upon space validation is processed.
Locate the specified folder to access the area validation report saved in *.XLS.
The report stores calculated data useful for analysis of area validated.
